Overview / In Amakusa, there is a musical score said to have been brought back by the Tensho envoys to Europe. Mr. Kiichi Matsuzaki, who runs a tailoring business in Amakusa, and his group have been restoring European musical instruments of the time, reviving the music from the scores, and performing them. The music presented here was recorded by Mr. Matsuzaki. Unfortunately, the titles of the songs are unknown except for "Mille regrets," but this song is known as the one that the boys of the Tensho Mission to Europe played in front of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
