We must come to realize that no amount of wealth, power, or intelligence will ever lead us to the true world or lasting happiness. In fact, the more we pursue these external forms of success, the further we stray from our true essence. Throughout our lives—and across lifetimes—we have prayed, wished, and fought, believing these actions would bring us joy. But these very energies have led us into suffering and darkness.
True happiness cannot be found through words or outward appearances. While speech and behavior can be disguised, the vibrations—or wave energy—we emit cannot be faked. What flows from our heart reveals the truth of who we are. This is why, despite our declarations of gratitude or success, if our core remains rooted in external pursuits, our inner world remains misaligned.
Everyone longs to be happy, but how many can truly say, "I am happy, even with nothing"? That is the measure of authentic peace. And yet, we continue to pray, to wish, and to struggle—driven by unconscious habits that we've yet to face. These persistent energies of prayer and battle are not just misguided—they are the very forces that have cast us into the depths of our own suffering.
To feel true happiness, we must stop praying and stop fighting. But as you'll discover if you try, doing so feels nearly impossible. It is only when we truly recognize—from the heart—that we ourselves have emitted these energies, that we have cast ourselves into darkness, that change becomes possible. The moment we admit this—"I have polluted myself and others with the energy of desperation and control"—is the moment we begin to open the door to real happiness.
